What is the Bordeaux wine festival?

The Bordeaux Wine Festival is the most important wine event in the New Aquitaine region. This annual celebration pays tribute to Bordeaux’s rich winemaking tradition, bringing together producers, experts and wine lovers from all over the world. For four days, Bordeaux fills with life and colour to celebrate its oenological heritage.

This festival offers the opportunity to taste a wide variety of local wines and serves as a showcase for Bordeaux’s culture and gastronomy. Every year, this event recreates the Bordeaux wine route, offering a tour representing more than 80 appellations of the region, without the need to leave the fairgrounds.

When is the Bordeaux Wine Festival and where does it take place?

The next edition of the Bordeaux Wine Festival will take place from 19 to 22 June 2025. For four days, the quays of the Garonne River will become the epicentre of Bordeaux’s wine culture. The festival stretches from the Pont de Pierre to Hangar 14, creating a route full of surprises and discoveries.

The Bordeaux Wine Festival transcends the concept of a simple tasting event. It represents a total immersion into the world of wine, where you can participate in educational workshops, enjoy gourmet pairings and immerse yourself in the history of local viticulture.

Whether you are an experienced taster or a curious beginner, the event offers a unique opportunity to explore, learn and savour the best that Bordeaux has to offer.
