Brief history of the Parc de l’Ermitage Sainte-Catherine

The history of this enclave is fascinating due to its evolution over the centuries. In its beginnings, this place was home to a troglodyte hermitage, carved into the limestone rock of the hill. The 17th century marked a new stage in its history with the construction of two majestic buildings: the Châteaux de l’Hermitage and Château Raoult.
